About The Elsie.....
The Elsie is an as the title says an elevated Railway set up to run Live Steam,Electric and Battery powered G Scale trains. The Elsie is set up to run long trains and offer prototypical operations by having long sidings and passing tracks and is also setup to have club built modules added to The Elsie to add even more operations, not to mention that the modules can be assembled and used at train show events as a club layout to share and inform about the hobby of Large Scale Garden Railroading.
The Elsie welcomes all type of G Scale Layouts be it indoors or out. We run our trains year round no matter the weather. We also would like to welcome folks that would like to stop by and see an operating session and maybe even run a train or two.
Our Club Members have both indoor and outdoor layouts and are always looking for new folks to share in the fellowship of the hobby with and to just run our trains.....which is what its all about.
